privacy, plainly.

This page explains what information techsporadic collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect what you type into the contact form, we use it to reply to you, and we don’t sell it to anyone.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, you give us your name, your email address, what kind of help you need, and your message. That’s it. This site has no accounts, no shopping cart, and never asks for payment details. Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (things like IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and follow up on it.
- To scope, quote, and carry out work you’ve asked for.
- To keep a record of our correspondence while we work together.
We email you about your inquiry or ongoing work — nothing else unless you’ve clearly said yes to it. That’s our obligation under Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL), and we take it seriously: no misleading subject lines, and any request to stop hearing from us is honoured promptly. Just reply “unsubscribe” to any message, or email us directly.
Who else touches it
Three service providers are involved in running this site, and none of them are allowed to use your information for their own purposes:
- Web3Forms processes contact-form submissions and delivers them to our inbox.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site; when your browser requests them, Google receives standard request data such as your IP address.
- Our hosting provider serves the site and keeps the server logs described above.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. We would only disclose it if required to comply with the law or to protect someone’s rights, property, or safety.
Cookies & tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or behavioural tracking. We honour Do Not Track signals — which is easy, because there’s nothing here tracking you. If that ever changes, this page will say so before anything is switched on.
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. Internally, our machines are encrypted and your information is accessible only to the person doing the work — which, at a studio this size, is the same person who answers your email.
Your choices
Email us any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We’ll confirm once it’s done.
Changes to this policy
Any changes will be posted on this page, with the date at the top updated.
